Now, as a full-time photographer, I am absolutely obsessed with capturing memories and milestones for my clients.
From there, I went from photographing horses and riders to families, couples, and more. Naturally, I pursued photography in college at SCAD and received a BFA in Fine Arts in 2017.
After college, I moved to Bluffton, SC, and worked for a marketing company while I continued to pursue my photography career.
When High School graduation came in 2012, I knew in my heart of hearts that I wasn’t ready to move on to college and instead focused on riding and maturing (good call on my part). Then, KMP was born while competing on the equestrian show jumping circuit. It was there that I found myself photographing events for one of the premier equestrian photographers in the world (pinch me!).
Before I found my passion behind the lens, I spent most of my life in the saddle—15+ years to be exact! In fact, KMP was first realized back in 2010, when I was a high schooler whose life revolved around riding my horses.
I still can’t recall why my parents gifted me a camera kit that next Christmas, but it led me to snapping pictures around the barn, and, soon, horse shows. Before I knew it, I was head over boots in love with capturing the bond between horse and rider.

My background in production taught me that every detail matters, from the way light moves through a space to the props that complete a scene.

It gives me the chance to think like a producer again; planning every detail, imagining how a brand’s story can come alive through light, color, and movement. It keeps my mind spinning with ideas and fills me with excitement knowing that the imagery I create helps other small businesses expand and show up with confidence.
