As a Lowcountry branding photographer, I chat with a lot of people who want to build their brand but don’t know if they need a full-on branding session just yet. Trust me, I get it. A full branding session is a big commitment, and there might be a number of reasons why you are not ready to commit. This is where a branding mini session is going to be your best friend! With these pics, you’ll have a convenient way to constantly keep things refreshed. If you have been considering booking new pictures, here’s what you need to know!

Branding mini sessions are exactly what they sound like. This is going to be a quick and easy way to get new pictures without committing the time or the full budget you would have to consider when booking a full session. I personally offer studio sessions once a quarter, where clients can book up quick 15-minute appointments. Essentially, you are going to come in fully ready with your hair and makeup done. We’ll run through a few poses, and you will receive 10 professionally edited portraits. You’ll also receive several more to choose from that are available for purchase!

There are so many reasons why mini-sessions are going to completely elevate your brand. When I schedule these, I work with a wide range of specialists from estheticians and real estate agents to entrepreneurs and small business owners. No matter your profession, these can really help you out! Here are a few of the benefits:
New content: When you are growing your brand, you need a way to constantly stay at the top of the algorithm. Grabbing you a few new pictures is the perfect way to create new posts that can reach a wider audience.

Make yourself known: You need a way to stand out from the crowd. Getting professional pictures lets people know you’re serious and helps you establish brand identity.
Get to know your photographer: Chances are, you are going to need a full session down the line. This gives you a non-committal way to try out the photographer you’ve been considering, so you can know if you’re a match.

Still not sure whether to go with a full branding session or a mini session? Here is what I recommend:
Full Session: This is for people who want to create their branding story. You keep total control of the session and can bring in different outfits and choose a few locations.
Think of this as an investment. You will pay more, but you can use it for major projects such as website redesigns, book jackets, social media content, and collaborations.

Mini Session: This will be for people who need a few new pictures to keep things refreshed. You will have one outfit and use a studio location. It’s perfect for mixing into your regular, more varied content.
This is a more affordable option, so you don’t have to wait to get it scheduled. I always recommend getting a few each year so you can always keep things new.

If you have been considering booking your branding mini session, I really hope this guide helps you out! And if you do want to take advantage of my next session, be sure to follow along so you never miss a date! Let’s work together soon!
